ABOUT
Annette Fehr ~ Lyon, France
I come from a very artsy and craftsy family from the beautiful Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada. Following a degree in Urban Planning & Design, I first moved to Zurich, Switzerland, before moving to the Beaujolais wine region of France where I'm constantly inspired by the natural beauty surrounding me. I took up knitting several years ago as a way to relax, reduce stress and as a child-compatible activity. I've experimented with all kinds of arts & crafts throughout my life including drawing, painting, calligraphy, architectural drawing, sculpting, jewellery-making, photography, quilting, embroidery, and crochet, and I was instantly fascinated by the infinite design possibilities, vibrant colour combinations and touchableness offered by hand-knitting. I dream of one day combining my passion for knitting with yarn possibilities appropriate for the hot climates which I love so much.
