As November draws to a close and the snow starts to fall, cozy, fire-side activities become more and more attractive, and as always are accompanied by copious amounts of hot coffee.
I couldn't bring myself to put away the beautiful scraps from my last shawl, made with The Unique Sheep's Kiri merino-silk yarn in the Arda and Vulcan colourways, and so I decided to do something about my ever-growing fingering-weight stash while making a small, in-between-projects project.
Leigh Myers, also known as Library Leigh on Ravelry, provides beautiful bookmark designs, almost all of which are free! So, equipped with my fingering stash and several bookmark patterns, I set about making a set of five brilliant bookmarks, which will make a beautiful gift one day if I can ever bear to part with them. However, I highly doubt it.
